Commenting on his decision, Dr. Huang stated, “I have adopted Producing Streaming Video for Multiple Screen Delivery for two reasons. First, the book covers useful information regarding how to deliver online videos the most recent ways. More specifically, it explains the technical details of some popular but taken-for-granted practices, and all new media practitioners who are serious about learning online video delivery should know. Second, I used Jan’s other textbook about Flash video in my class, and he is a trustworthy professional in streaming media.”

Dr. Huang is the third college or university professor to adopt Ozer’s video compression textbook for their college classes, joining Ken Santucci of George Mason University and Seth Bloombaum of Portland Community College.

New book helps streaming producers navigate the confusing waters of live and on-demand delivery to multiple platforms, covering both adaptive and single file delivery.
