MediaPlatform PrimeTime Review: A Sleek Enterprise YouTube

I’m getting pretty excited about enterprise YouTube products in general; particularly after writing about the value eBay saw in their enterprise system (see eBay Embraces Enterprise YouTube). I also liked, but wasn’t overwhelmed by, the Silverlight-based Vidizmo EnterpriseTube. I recently reviewed PrimeTime, an enterprise YouTube platform from MediaPlatform, and found it all that and a bag of chips, as saucy southern girls are want to say. Here’s the conclusion.

To recap what I mentioned at the top, despite some usability grumbles, PrimeTime feels capable, stable and very well-thought out. If you’re currently using WebCaster (a sister MediaPlatform product I reviewed here) and you’re looking to add enterprise YouTube functionality, PrimeTime is the obvious choice. If you’re starting with a clean slate, I would definitely include PrimeTime in the list of must consider candidates.

You can find the review here. If you’re considering an enterprise YouTube system, have a look.
