Product Review: Epiphan Pearl Nano

My review of the Epiphan Pearl Nano is now available on Streaming Media. The video I produced for the review is below.

Note that I really liked the feature set and usability but found that video quality suffered from a slight cast as you can in Figure 8 of the article and below. The cast is most visible in the top color of the blue sweater which looks like it changes color just under my chin. The source and clean blue is on the left (my right), the Nano encode and faded blue on the right (my left).

It’s not that noticeable unless you do a side-by-side comparison, but I wouldn’t buy one until it’s fixed (haven’t heard a peep from Epiphan since I wrote the article).
