Quickie Review of Video Compression for Flash, Apple Devices and HTML5

So, here I am at 3:38 on a Sunday AM, suffering from tummy rumbling insomnia fueled by massive chocolate over-indulgence at a dinner party last night (hey, I’m human). For some reason I thought vanity surfing would put me to sleep, but ended up finding this review of my book by Larry B that I hadn’t seen before.

I’ve been enjoying Jan Ozer’s new book, Video Compression for Flash, Apple Devices and HTML5. It’s the comprehensive how-to tutorial on video encoding you’d expect from Jan, as well as a lot of insight about best practices and all the things you should be paying attention to when you’re publishing video online.

Chock full of examples, test results, tables of useful data, and technical information you can put to use right away – this is a great resource for anyone: novice to expert.

In response, Matt says:

Greetings Larry,

Thanks for the reference of Jan Ozer’s new book. I just purchased and really worth paying. Thank so much for this. Appreciated.

Thanks guys!

In addition to the hard copy version, you can now buy a Kindle version of the book.
