Streaming Production Training at the Richmond Federal Reserve

April – 2010 – I (Jan Ozer) just finished a one day training program at the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond. The course curriculum focused on streaming production, and was an extended version of the training that I gave in New York in March. Here’s the agenda.

It’s a fun course the borrows heavily from materials developed for the week long course I taught at Stanford in 2009, and the Critical Skills for Streaming Producers DVD that I produced for Streaming Media back in 2007.

As an aside, I stayed at the absolutly fabulous Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, a true five star hotel. I got in late, asked for a quiet room and I guess looked pathetic enough that the front desk clerk upgraded me to a suite. I didn’t bring a camera to the job since the Fed won’t let them in the building, so I don’t have pics, but here’s one from the web site. The suite was all this, plus a gracious sitting room and an amazing bar.

Rates are good, service wonderful and the whole facility absolutely marvelous. If you find yourself in Richmond overnight, give it a shot.

Training went great, and my little girlies loved the gifts the Fed handed out – chopped up $100 bills in a little bag.

I enjoy consulting with corporate, academic and governmental agencies – this was one of four consulting/training engagements for the US government in 2010. To discuss your streaming or video production training needs, contact [email protected] or call 276-238-9135.
